Driving in Adverse Weather Conditions

We all know that we should be driving differently in adverse weather, but how many of us actually know what changes to be made, and more importantly how to react in times of reduced grip while on the move?
While it is mostly true to an extent, speed is not always the main contributary factor in road incidents, as if this was the case, the number of incidents would decrease with worsening conditions as people rightly slow down. So what are the other factors that cause issues in adverse weather?
Well they will come under a few broad categories such as:

Fishing in Different Weather Conditions

Fishing in constant weather is highly advantageous as you know what to expect and how to prepare for the particular weather. In most cases though this is hardly the case and you have to deal with weather variables. Here are some of the most common weather conditions you are likely to encounter when fishing and what they mean.
Storms
Expect to catch little or no fish during and shortly after a storm. Fish know when a cold spell is approaching, including a storm, and will feed highly just before it hits then go under to shelter in the calmer waters.

Finding Out The Current Weather Conditions On Your Computer

The article describes how important it is to stay on top of current weather conditions and to find long range weather forecasts on a computer. It gives suggestions on why the reader might want to keep up with the weather on their computer on a regular basis.
In today's fast-paced society, keeping up with current weather conditions is easy with a computer. When inclement weather is coming into your area, your computer can provide updated local forecasts around the clock to help plan your day and prepare for whatever Mother Nature throws at you.
No longer do you have to wait for the evening news to find out if the weather will affect your morning commute or your weekend plans, as an updated forecast is just a click away on your computer. Not only will you stay apprised of current weather conditions, but you will also find a long range weather forecast letting you know if the weekend will be sunny and perfect for heading outdoors, or rainy and better suited for plans around the house.

Atmospheric Pressure and Its Effects on Weather

Have you ever observed that there is atmospheric pressure all around you? Also known as air pressure, it is the pressure exerted on us by the tiny air molecules or air particles. Despite their size, molecules of air have weight and occupy space. However, air molecules can be compressed and fitted in to a smaller space as there is plenty of empty space between the particles. Compressed air, or air fitted into a smaller space is called high pressure air or as being 'under high pressure.' In fact the air we are so used to is constantly applying pressure on us, but we don't actually feel it.
How are air pressure and weather connected?

Weather Forecasting

The science and the technology of foretelling the state of the atmosphere in the future in a particular place is known as weather forecasting. The Human race has been attempting to predict the weather from the beginning of civilization but only since at least the nineteenth century has this been done in a formal fashion. Such formal weather forecasts are made by collecting quantitative data about the present condition of the atmosphere and using scientific knowledge of the atmospheric process to determine the state of the atmosphere and how it will evolve.
Today, forecast models are being used to predict and determine future conditions, when once it used to be an all-human undertaking mostly based on barometric pressure, current weather conditions and sky conditions. But even today human participation is still necessary to select the most favorable forecast model to found the forecast upon, which includes pattern recognition skills, teleconnections, knowledge of model performance, and knowledge of model biases.

Predict Weather and Plan Your Daily Activities With a Home Weather Station

If you are a person who usually goes out for family outings or weekend adventures, you might know of all the problems that come along when the weather suddenly changes. Say you're having a fun picnic on a nice sunny weekend and suddenly the weather changes from sunny to cloudy, and it starts to rain. Your picnic is ruined. In order to avoid this you can now get a home weather station that will help you decide when to go for an outing, and where to go.
There are a number of problems faced by individuals everyday only because of the ever changing weather. Most people try to avoid this by watching the weather channel and intently listening what the weather man has to say about the future weather conditions in a particular area. But everyone knows that the weather man is not always right and his information can make a pleasant day become extremely unpleasant. The reason why so many people get misleading information about weather conditions is because weather changes when we travel from one place to another. It is extremely localized. This is why we sometimes see rain falling in one area of the city and sunshine in the other.

Is it Possible to Survive the 2012 Doomsday?

Nearing the apocalypse year 2012 many people are starting to panic because of their fear about the end of the world expectations, the expectations that every human on this planet is going to suffer and eventually die from some of the disasters that will strike the earth.
As a reminder, some of the predictions are saying that the events and disaster that will take place on doomsday can be divided in four categories, as follows:
o Fire
o Water and wind
o Earth
o Outer space elements
The fire category includes an volcanic eruptions all over the planet, and this is also in close connection with the outer space elements, where a meteor showers will start fires all of the planet and will destroy everything that will be on their paths.
